IonCleanse
The IonCleanse is a machine that uses ionic exchange to draw toxins out of the body through the feet. It sends an electrical current through the water and creates both positive and negative ions. Toxins are attracted out of the body toward the IonCleanse unit because of its opposite charge.
Why use IonCleanse detoxification
A toxin is any substance that is harmful to the cell. Detoxification rids the body of toxins. Toxins build up and cause oxidative stress and immune system problems, increasing your susceptibility to disease. Aging is a gradual accumulation of toxic chemicals, which in turn become the source of chronic problems. Detoxification is a major component of anti-aging medicine.
How does IonCleanse work
The IonCleanse treatment begins by simply placing your feet in a basin of warm water with a little added sea salt. A metallic "array" is set into the basin which generates the ions.
The charge creates both negative and positive ions around the feet. The movement of water from the basin into the feet and up into the body is assisted by an elementary chemical force known as osmotic pressure. The interaction of the ions creates oxidation and reduction reactions. The harmful toxins are attracted out of the tissues through the feet and into the water. The footbath water changes color depending on what is being extracted. We identify the areas from which your body is releasing toxins by color and consistency of the water.
Our office has done an average of 40 treatments a week, for both healthy individuals and those in the process of disease.
